KINGSTON, Jamaica — Crime stop is offering a $200,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and charge of those involved in murder of two brothers and the injuring of their 13-year-old sibling in the community of Buck Town, Rasta Corner located in Freetown, Clarendon earlier this year.

The brothers — 16-year-old Ricardo Blake, otherwise called Blacks or Cardo and 19-year-old bus conductor/labourer Richard Blake, otherwise called Richie — were reportedly asleep at home on April 13, when gunmen invaded their home around midnight.

According to Crime Stop, three armed men with high-powered rifles and pistols kicked in the door of the family home and went to the brothers' room asking for a “Blacka” but were told that person they sought was not there.

It is said that the gunmen disbelieved them and subsequently opened fire hitting both Ricardo and Richard all over their bodies, killing them on the spot. Their younger sibling was also wounded in the attack.

The killers then fled.

The police said they have been unable to get a breakthrough in the case and are now seeking the public's assistance in solving it.

The offer expires on October 31.
