Merciless is the stand-out act on a collection of veteran and young dancehall acts on the Bushfire rhythm.

Released on the Sweet Music label on December 24, 2017, the project has been steadily gaining traction through consistent radio play on FM radio.

The witty Merciless is currently enjoying a resurgence in his career with the popular The Story. The single name-drops several artistes and is a running social commentary that uses juicy dancehall gossip for humour and laughs.

“The response has been phenomenal. Mi plan fi do the video. People love di humour as dat missing outta dancehall... a jus' fun; no disrepc' meant,” he told the Jamaica Observer.

Bushfire rhythm also features Macka Diamond on No Gyal, and newcomer Keshan Sparks on Walk Out.

Other tracks include: Chino ( Money a Count); Flexx ( Little Secret); and Don Mafia ( Living in a Dream).

The executive producer of the project is Dr Dave Wallace.

Merciless, given name Leonard Bartley, has had a string of hits since making his debut in 1994 with Lend Out Mi Mercy. His other tracks include Gal Dem Gizzada, Mama Cooking and Mavis.
